The Democratic Party has always been the champion of the everyday citizen. That hasn't changed. The common good and the general welfare are our watchwords.
From the depths of the Great Depression through the Second World War, to the Great Society, the Carter and Kennedy years, right up through the Clinton Administration, when this country was left with a surplus within it's coffers of eight billion dollars, the Democratic Party has stood beside, protected and worked for the American citizen.

Those values and mission of the Democrats were not only supported at the national level, but at the State and local levels of government as well. When Democrats widely hold offices across the land, the people themselves are the ultimate beneficiaries of the efforts put forth by those Democrat office holders.

County governments, are controlled and fairly adminstered when those offices are held by representatives of the Democratic Party, and they assure the public that what THEY need, is what will be forthcoming. From county commissioners, through every level and description of elected county offices, Democrat office holders work for their constituency, to bring them the best possible for their taxpayer dollar, and delivered with morals, ethics and good business acumen.
